CAN YOU RELATE EP
12 Inch
01.02.07
the music on this third release sounds a bit like a mixture of ame , derrick carter, lil louis, carl craig and basic channel. which is a good thing. we would like to think that this is the most loveable number so far. by miles! fonky, groovy, dark and deep techhouse that is just begging to be played at the right moment. paris the black fu from detroit grand pubahs has provided the vocals. and he actually has a message. can you relate?

VIZARD EP
12 Inch
11.12.06
the title track, vizard, starts the listener on a dark journey dripping with eerie rhythms and synthetic noises. a kick emerges from the moody ambience to lead the way for syncopated percussion and brooding bass.argentinas whiz kid barem pulls vizard in a funkier direction with his rework, while maintaining the moody atmosphere of the original. with shuffling percussion and a bassline designed to invigorate, the haunting beeps add the slightest oomph while keeping the listener shrouded in mystery as to where the track will travel next.i gotta move on is a melting pot of dark, groovy and quirky ingredients, a recipe perfected simply for enjoyment. the vocal samples are chopped so fine youd think they were cut with a chefs knife

SYNKOPE EP
12 Inch
07.11.06
the synkope ep ushers in a new sound for mathias, one that is more full and less percussive than before yet also one that will not leave previous fans in the dark. taking his cue from his keen knowledge of the worlds dance floors, kaden translates this awareness straight on to vinyl without losing sight of todays complex sequences and sound structures. with the flood of faceless releases that threaten to sink even the most discerning record buyer theses days. there is a growing sense of urgency to make records that will remain classic and listenable even 10 years into the future. if you dont mind us saying we think this might just be one
BASSHEAD
12 Inch
06.11.06
michoacan is fernando miranda rios, a young and very talented producer from the states. he already has releases on labels such as grayhound, headinghome, lo rise and bear entertainment. his track 2 bullets was on the lektroluv elektrik planet compilation and the title track from this ep here got a spot on the new lektroluv 007. now the dr decided to offer michoacan a full vinyl release on the lektroluv label and we honnestly think it rocks! both basshead and d.s.s.g. can and will get radio airplay for sure. this is a top notch crossover production that sounds catchy without being commercial at all.situated somewhere between house, rock, disco and electro, michoacan has his own particular sound and is an artist you will certainly hear more from in the future

THE CONTEMPORARY FIX
12 Inch
07.10.06
remember the infamous scene from the movie deliverance? the one with the retarded kid and the grown man going all out in a play off, an acoustic guitar vs a banjo… anyway, lindstrom finally got around to play & record the banjo he bought in nyc last summer. it takes time to practise & learn to play the banjo. lindstrom needed a year to make the simple banjo-lick used on >the contemporary fix<, the 9th feedelity release. you might think the use of banjo, autoharp & clavinet together with acid squiggles on top of live disco-drums is a most unusual combination? well, here s the soundtrack to deliverance 2006
UM DIE EIGENE ACHSE EP
12 Inch
07.10.06
toni vokado stands for dry but inventive plocker-rave. on his upcoming 12inch >um die eigene achse< eav018 vokado continues with his pithy style of his previous releases on electric avenue recordings and brings it to another level. at first you might think it is minimal techno but than his playfulness and sound collages pushes forward and you realise: this is strong and rave compatible - an audioplay at home a call to dance in the clubs: microscope rhythm
BLA BLA BLA / MISSION ELEVATOR
12 Inch
04.10.06
no other than chilean sunnyboy and groove scientist luciano is taking us on the a-side on a long ride of lush but infectious minimalism. eleven minutes strong, luciano does what he does best and unfolds a continuous flow of subtle rhythmic changes, melodies and field recordings to create an overall hypnotic feel that sucks you in right from the start. think his last ep on cadenza with thomas melchior and add an eerie feel to it. on the flip side the enigmatic duo eat (both integrat parts of the diamonds and pearls family) steps up for some serious dancefloor destruction. what starts off as a pulsating acidic techno-monster that creeps up from the depths of a pile of analog synthesizers, turns into a breakbeat chopping electro-jam that will leave you behind with bleeding ears and thumping hearts, before the track jumps right back to techno peaktime.

MOBILEE BACK TO BACK REMIX SERIES VOL. 1
12 Inch
26.09.06
mobilee is on >back to back< mission and presents the first release of a four-piece vinyl remix series including eight exclusive in-house remixes. a - sebo k reworks gummihz s >isolate<. he just took the essential >rave signal<, modified the groove and added some spezial effects. the most reduced sebo k production so far. aa - prosumer gets the upper hand on sebo k, recreating the latter s >moved (featuring prosumer)< in prosumer s own image. and you thought dude was just a singer - think again. >think again< might as well be mobilee s motto, for the way the label lays bare the skeleton of rave music—and the way it amplifies berlin minimal into something throbbing, overwhelming, all-consuming. watch your back: mobilee is coming up from behind, and back to back is the rearview image of the shape of rave to come

NO SLEEP
12 Inch
12.09.06
a1 no sleep:an amazing 13-minute latin pop electronic house piece ,a journey that is already making a name for itself in the world bests dancefloors. percusions, baselines ,bleeps mental sounds blending together with a dirty groove that keeps on changing and developing ,to peak in soulful and painful vocals accompained with a lead melancholic guitar and jorge singing -is just like to be on drugs without the fun-.....sounds familiar?...the song ends in beautiful detroit styled chords , a good reason to play it until the end..b1 close that door: an acid house jam with extravagant and abstract lyrics showing gonzales dark humor and irony.close that door has a killer acid baseline and the usual quirky dinky touch ,lots of sex and groove on this track,a sure peak-timer.think dan bell meets prince.b2 no sleep (edit):a smart instrumental version of no sleep for those vocal snobsters.just the groove here, no vocals,no guitar or synth lines, and exelent tool
WHEN THE FEVER BREAKS

WE ARE VOLUME 6 (10INCH)
10 Inch
14.07.06
after five succesful releases which have generated support by just about anyone you can think of (martin landsky, dominik eulberg, plastikman, michael mayer, frank lorber, mandy etc) - these ten-inch vinyls have reached number 6 (out of 10) in the series. once again labelowner agaric has made the a-side track, for this one a delightfully melancholic peace of music yet with a pounding bottom groove to go with it. guesting the b-side is the brilliant young star from jena: mathias kaden, known for recent outstanding work on labels like vakant and freude am tanzen

sleepy hollow was obviously inspired by the movie of the same name. it is one of my favourite pictures by tim burton and i really like the dark, creepy atmosphere of it. the bass-line recreates this mood to an extent that it scares me, makes me shiver. i mean, really! regenerate has such a strong techhouse vibe to it, again reminiscent of the early 90s and a very strong groove. excellent percussion programming and modulation by stephan. this one builds and builds until it completely gets you. personally i think all due respect is the most laidback, reduced track on the album. we came up with this distinctive, monotone melody/bass and i loved the feeling right away. definetely the kind of music that i like to play on a sunday after hour session
SUNWARRIORS
12 Inch
03.07.06
this 12inch on cache marks sebastian kramer s departure from a close-range sound that was defined by the labels he was assigned to until now, pure plastic and coda records. tracks on this 12inch cover different flavours of 4/4 beat dance music, with a strong reference to detroit techno. the single kicks off with >m-51<,a dark and deep techno monster track which could be taken as an alternate >matrix< soundtrack, followed by >blue cell<, a chord driven floorburner. on the flip the title track >sunwarriors< – a nice blend of analog shuffle and basslines, think of kms and f-com in the best sense. closing with >rain< a gem with haunting keyboard action

after his comeback single for playhouse we salutÉ nick calingaert back on the block with this detroit influenced italo stormer. analog feeling is the key word here ! straight jacking chicago groove with a murder bassline and soaring strings takes the track to higher level while slightly misjointed analogeffects tackles your toes. phonique who is currently riding high with remixes and releases on fine, simple and buzzing fly turns >through< into summer maddnesswith groovy drumprogramming and a strong breakdown perfect for those outdoor parties we all wait for !holmar filipsson (from mr negative/thugfucker fame) is keeping it real with a even more summery feel with light melancolic string work and minimal beats. with his own words >this is happy house as its best< – we think so too !

behind the name >vism< stands an east-german graffitti-projekt,that was founded 10years ago. as there was the possibility to make a record for winsome music of course we couldnt say no. the fruit >win 005< is moderatly doleful, sometimes playful, with emphasis on the base, but the main focus is minimalized to the essentials.the record with its haunted synths is redoled of grandmas old spine-chillers
pan cosefo is the new project of spoonface (aka black legend) with a merger of broken beat and a dancehall meets grime aesthetic (think m.i.a.) very catchy with a definite uk bashment appeal it gets a pair of mixes from zed bias not to be missed

SHICK N SHOCK EP
12 Inch
13.03.06
the a-side presents >shick<, a dark minimal pusher. permanent sticks hold the tempo, while a dark but dirty melody slowly rises up and starts to lead the track. after a short break, >shick< evloves its whole sable grandeur. take your time to enjoy this one.. on the b-side, you find another strong bit. >shock< is less dark but more funky. shuffling hihats, a jumping bassline and some short chords qualify shock s heavy demand on the dancefloor. a thin open hihat makes grooves on and on and a short ear candy melody wont leave your head for hours. do we need anything else? dont think so

a diverse, old schoolish yet modern techno record. a killer record we think! the a-side offers the club groover “first one” and the beautiful deep detroitish heitere gemüter . the b-side offers a re-relase: erfolgsgeblubber was released on morris audio citysport a year ago, but has been getting superb feedback (e.g. steve bug: thisis huge! ) and we just love this early warp styled bleeper! finishing off this well rounded ep, shaka comes up with some great jazzy electronic trickery called phalonmukka . great stuff for openminded freaks, and well worth checkin shaka s upcoming stuff on revolver and his remix of pan/tone s gringo grinder

lars sommerfeld underlines once more fumakillas unique new grown up sound profile - cool reduzed long growing tracks somewhere between sparkling electroniquness, thumping minimised grooves, bumpty discotech layers and at times even classic real underground new york house pitches in the like of early nervousstuff thrown in. sommerfeld combines it all to an ultra ônowö three track smasher ( a1- sundowner b1 - the next step b2 - transport) from what we think is his best and most worked out release to date. no denying, to get massive play here we dont need no whippin , this wild ôlife of oö will ôdominateö floors all over until full satisfaction!
